Free CS2 skins: gift, site credit or gambling reward?
The nine entries below are routes to skins, not free skins. Four lead to markets or exchanges; five lead to age-restricted gaming rewards. Check the credited asset and every required action before treating a code, rebate or illustrated prize as a gift.

Referral directory: TradeUp Academy may earn compensation. Every route has its own terms; read them before you sign up.
What would count as a free skin?
A genuine no-purchase gift needs an eligible recipient, a specified transferable Steam item and a clear delivery route without a required payment or wager. A discount lowers a purchase price. Exchange credit buys something inside a service. A gaming reward can depend on rank, keys, activity, review or redemption rules. Those are different outcomes.
This directory contains referral routes, not a list of independently tested gifts. TradeUp Academy may receive compensation if you use its links or codes. Whether a code gives your account a reward depends on the current promotion.
Do the accounting in the unit you need
Example credit promotion (not an offer from a listed venue): paying $10 creates $13 of non-withdrawable item credit. You have spent $10, not gained $3 cash. If the exact item you wanted costs $12 there and $9 all-in elsewhere, the credit route still costs $1 more and leaves $1 of site credit. That remainder helps only if it replaces another intended purchase.
A deposit-linked bonus has another calculation: identify the release requirement, eligible activity, expiry and maximum claim. A displayed $100 bonus that is locked is not $100 of available money. Do not make extra deposits or wagers merely to discover whether a route works.
Check the offer without paying to diagnose it
- Read the official promotion for the account you already have. Record whether it is new-user-only, time-limited, country-limited or linked to an existing referral.
- Identify the asset: actual Steam item, site credit, game token or a conditional reward. Look for the delivery/redemption rule before entering a code.
- Inspect every required action and minimum. If the only way to check entitlement is to add money, the essential offer is not yet established.
- If a code is rejected, preserve its message and the promotion page for official support. Do not create duplicate accounts or invent a residence.
- For a Steam delivery, inspect the actual item and recipient in the trade confirmation. A reward picture or credited number is not delivery.
What these nine routes are useful for
DMarket, Tradeit, Swap.gg and Waxpeer are price or exchange candidates. Compare the final item basket or eligible cash receipt; this directory lists no free item from them. Swap.gg explicitly says trade balance cannot be cashed out, and Tradeit distinguishes spending balances from Revenue.
CSGORoll, 500 Casino, PLG, CSGOEmpire and Gamdom require a separate reward assessment. Their cards lead to full source-based guides. CSGORoll daily cases use account state and keys; 500’s welcome package separates boost release and bonus balance; Gamdom describes personalised rewards. PLG’s current terms were unreadable, so the value of its code and who can use it are unknown.
Choose a route that fits the actual goal
If you want a particular skin, compare a fixed-price purchase through the marketplace guide instead of relying on a random reward. If you already have an eligible no-paid-action reward, checking it can be worthwhile when the asset and redemption are clear. If it needs new paid activity, evaluate that spending separately from the reward.
The age and country controls below are filters, not legal permission or operator acceptance. Read the complete current terms, including regional limits and identity checks, before any restricted participation. A referral code never supplies that permission.
Compare an item’s actual sale or exchange price; there is no free item here.
Price the complete exchange basket. Trade/Store credit is not cashout.
Trade credit buys items and cannot be withdrawn as money.
Compare the listing and eligible payment route; a referral is not a skin gift.
Read the exact asset, requirements and final cost before using a code.
Gaming rewards require a separate eligibility check
These are conditional gaming rewards, not free Steam gifts. Requirements, redemption and the chance of losing paid funds differ by game and account.
Confirm age and local eligibility to enable referral links. This confirmation does not replace the operator’s terms or identity checks.
Daily-case access depends on rank, keys and the current reward rules.
A deposit-linked boost or bonus balance is not immediately withdrawable money.
We could not read the current terms, so this code’s reward value is unknown.
Read who can get the gift case and how accounts are checked before a prize is paid.
Rewards are personalised; the withdrawal help describes crypto payouts.
Method and limits
We reviewed current readable primary rules and linked full guides. We did not claim gifts, redeem codes, complete identity checks, deposit or test payouts. Counts describe directory entries and listed codes, not offers available to your account. Missing or inaccessible rules remain explicit.
